Saut-Mathurine

The Saut-Mathurine is a waterfall located in Camp-Perrin, Haiti. It’s a 40-minute drive out Northwest from Les Cayes. It is most spectacular during May and June but in January, Haiti’s driest month, it doesn’t always run. Despite the punctual fall, there is always a wonderful pristine pool that runs through a ravine at the bottom which is great to swim in all year round. Only half of the pool is accessible for swimming. The other half is filled with jagged rock cliffs frothing with jungle trees, vines, and moss.
